Fiscal Office and Compliance Unit Services

The Fiscal Office and Compliance Unit Services (FOCUS) provides administrative and financial compliance oversight for the College of Social Sciences’ research and training activities including pre-award review/approvals of extramurally-funded proposals, execution of contractual documents for procuring goods, services, and construction within SSRI’s designated purchasing authority, as well as limited human resource functions. FOCUS is staffed with experienced employees knowledgeable in Federal, State, and University policies and procedures and works closely with the Research Services (RS) unit to provide administrative support to CSS faculty and staff.
